April’s Songwriters Showcase shares the original music of singer songwriters Frankie Joe and Parry Lamont
Frankie Joe is a unique singer/songwriter with a craft based in the more than two hundred years of river culture within the mid-west Mississippi River basin. With an Ozark accent, Frankie Joe weaves story and song together including a very entertaining twist.
Parry Lamont brings the wide-open skies of his Minnesota roots to life with music shaped by journeys through Seattle, Chicago, and New Orleans. Raw, honest and deeply lived-in, his songs carry grit, tenderness, and stories that linger - reminding us that our hopes, heartbreaks and humanity are worth singing about.
