The Songwriters Showcase series celebrates the creation and performance of original music while giving audiences an opportunity to hear the stories and inspirations behind the songs.
Carol Montag is an award-winning singer-songwriter, recording artist, and educator whose original songs reflect a lifetime of storytelling, heart, and melody. Carol has opened for or shared the stage with artists including Arlo Guthrie, Tom Paxton, Greg Brown, John Gorka, David Wilcox, and Three Dog Night.
Where coffee house meets dive bar...there Joie Wails is! With powerhouse vocals and a fearless authenticity, Joie writes from lived experience, creating music that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.
The event is free and open to the public. Donations are appreciated and help support the Center's ongoing efforts to showcase regional talent and original music.
