World Tai Chi & Qigong Day

Held each year on the last Saturday in April, this worldwide event invites people of all ages and experience levels to gather and practice Tai Chi and Qigong—often described as “meditation in motion.” The day is designed not as a performance or competition, but as a shared experience centered on calm awareness and well-being.
Galena-based instructor Amy Alderman will lead a gentle qigong and simplified tai chi form, which will be free and open to the public.
