Nikolaus Miesing
Nikolaus Miesing 1940-2025
We mourn the loss of Nik Miesing, an amazing artist and wonderful friend of the Center.
Nik was born in Germany and earned a degree in stone carving at the Academy of Fine Arts in Koeningslutter/Germany. He would travel to Italy to hand select his stone and have the marble and travertine shipped back to the States. His goal was to achieve maximum expression with few lines.
He will be greatly missed.
