I have been drawing and making things my whole life.
In elementary school, I was the kid who always had artwork hanging in the hall or the classroom walls.
Art classes in high school, even though I thought I'd become a scientist of some sort.
My university degrees are a Bachelor's in Art from Illinois State University, and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My major was sculpture and painting, and I minored in film.
I've taught at two universities. Assistant Professor at Illinois State U and Texas A&M Corpus Christi
I have taught Drawing, Design, Sculpture and Independent Studies in Art.
I've run my own studio for commercial and ad art. Later, a studio for architecture-related and interior design.
During all these times, I have always continued to draw, paint, and make things.
I own a house from the 1840's here in Galena, have lived here since 2012, and have a studio and a workshop in my house.
