The Forest Stone Auditions
If you want to have some fun, then come join the Wise Old Owl and woodland creatures to help save the forest from the Wicked Queen Trasha, her husband Kind Dither, and her henchmen, the Bumblies.
This 50-60 minute interactive play written and directed by Lee Adami is designed for Earth Day awareness. It was previously produced by The Magic Owl Children's Theatre of Timber Lake Playhouse.
Family-friendly performances will be April 13 and 14, 2024, with matinees at 2 pm.

ADULT ROLES: Ageless
- WISE OLD OWL (preferably male) - Protects the stone, the creatures and the trees.
- WICKED QUEEN TRASHA (preferably female) - Evil laugh a must. Mean, bossy and greedy.
- KING DITHER (preferably male) – Ability to ‘dither’ a must. Must learn to stand up for himself in the end.
- REBECCA/SPIRIT OF THE FOREST - Our heroine. Lost in the forest. Helps the woodland creatures.
- BUMBLIE # 1, BUMBLIE # 2, BUMBLIE #3 (preferably male, but could be female) - The hilarious Queen’s henchmen. Addicted to bumble treats.
Chorus singing. No lines. Vocalizations needed.
- Mouse - Saves the day.
- Bear - Yawns a lot. Very sleepy.
- Frog - Ribbit croak a must.
- Rabbit - Hopping a plus.
- Racoon
- Deer
- Possum - Must be able to play dead.
- Fox
- Chipmunk
- Stage manager
- Musical director (paid position)
- Simple set building

- A few props
Rehearsals start in February. Children's rehearsal will be on Saturdays and Sundays. Adults might have additional rehearsals on Fridays apart from the children.
