I Hate Hamlet

Table Reading

When Andrew Rally, a successful TV actor, agrees to play the role of Hamlet in a Central Park production, many complications ensue, including the spirit of John Barrymore returning to train him for the role.

The New York Times described this show as "unapologetically silly and at times hilarious...affectionately amusing about the theatre."

The performance features Lee Adami, Michael Crawford, Mark Haman, Molly Huerta Hoefflin, Terry Hoefflin and Nala Kathleen with narration by Jay Dickerson.

The audience is invited to participate in a talkback about the play and its subject matter after the reading.

Special thank you to Illinois Bank and Trust for sponsoring the 2020 Table Reading Series.
