In this compelling drama, a childhood survivor of the Holocaust, deeply traumatized by the slaughter of his family by Nazis, grows up to become the tyrannical head of a New York publishing company. Despite its sterling reputation for championing authors who are passionate about their work rather than publishing best-sellers, Geldhart Publishing is on the brink of folding, and is threatened to be taken over by his son. He is faced with a family business conflict, a tug of war between family, money and morals.
The audience is invited to participate in a talkback about the play and its subject matter after the reading.
