This songwriters project and virtual concert is supported by a grant from the Illinois Humanities Council.

These new original songs created by 18 regional songwriters reflect their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Songs were recorded by each artist in their own place of shelter. Still images provided by local photographers add to our understanding of the impact that this strange time has had on the small historic town of Galena, Illinois. This project serves as both an artistic and historic reflection of our time in isolation.
