Bruce Kort is best known for his lifelong career playing the blues. Growing up in the Chicago area, he soaked up the sounds of the then vibrant Chicago blues scene. Now a resident of the Driftless Area of NW Illinois, he plays throughout the Tri-States, and in the summer warbles tunes on the riverboat Twilight on the Mississippi.
