Singer, Songwriter and Storyteller Frankie Joe Willderman is a Rock Island, Illinois native, with roots and family up and down the Mississippi River Valley. Frankie Joe’s writing styles are alive with a combination of Country Blues and Ragtime Swing, many times hinting at an undercurrent of Bluegrass. About his music, he said “These songs are life stories, bits and pieces taken from many colorful characters and happenings through the years. Each one is a little journey into another place and time”. Frankie Joe is a member of the band Kinfolk, who play a full calendar of live shows throughout the year.
