Ginny Luke

Concert

Join Galena Center for the Arts for a world-class concert featuring Ginny Luke, an electric violinist and vocalist.

Ginny began her music career when she was only three years old, training in classical violin, piano, and dance in Vilseck, Germany. At age four, her family moved to Dubuque, Iowa, bringing her one step closer to her goal of being a famous recording artist in Los Angeles.

She proceeded to earn various degrees in violin performance from California Institute of Arts and Colburn School of Music, as well as a degree in keyboards and vocals from Musician’s Institute. Ginny studied classical violin under well-known names, such as Doris Preucil, Sally O'Reilly, Dr. Chan Ho Yun, and Mark Menzies.

Today, Ginny is well-known in the Los Angeles area as a musician, songwriter, and producer. She has recorded music with and performed internationally alongside numerous musicians, including the Foo Fighters, Britney Spears, Shawn Mendez, and Stevie Wonder. Recently, Ginny has been featured as the lead vocalist and electric violinist on Questlove’s International Tour “4UPrince” and Dr. Dre’s Orchestral Tour. She has also been a featured musician for The Neverland Express, Meat Loaf’s internationally touring band. During her time in this band, she was recorded on Meat Loaf’s album, “Hell in a Handbasket.”

When she is not in the studio working on new music or performing, you can find Ginny managing the electric strings quartet, SAGA Strings and the country fiddle duo, Gin & Lace.
