Summit Street Singers

Community Chorus

Adults and students of all abilities (including beginners) are invited to join the Summit Street Singers, a community chorus that meets every two weeks. No audition required.

Kent Parry is the director of the choir. He received his bachelor degree in Music Education from Western Illinois University, his master's degree of Music Education from Northern Illinois University, and has 36 years of experience as a high school choral director. Susan Lipnick will accompany the choir on piano.

The Summit Street Singers choral group offers local singers an opportunity to make new friends and renew old friendships through music. Donations from chorus members are appreciated to help pay for the printed music. Members are encouraged to bring a notebook and a pencil to rehearsals.

Regular rehearsals: suspended due to the pandemic
