Figure Drawing

An ongoing opportunity for artists to draw the human figure from a live model. Models, tables and chairs are provided. Artists bring their own drawing or painting materials, easel and paper.

Life drawing is one of the foundations of art training. It's both challenging and rewarding. It teaches an artist to draw what he or she sees--proportions, relationships and measurements. The practice of live figure drawing enhances and improves all drawing skills.

Models vary by workshop from male, female, young and older. Artists use whatever they choose from pencil, charcoal, paints, pastels, etc.

The atmosphere is low-key and casual. There is no instructor; however, artists often help each other.

Second Thursday of the Month from 5-7 pm
Figure drawing will resume in January on a monthly basis. The first session will be held Thursday, January 4 from 5-7 pm. Thereafter it will be held on the second Thursday of each month.
$10 per workshop
