Teen Theatre Intensive
July 17-21, 2023, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. for ages 13-17.

This is a crash course in everything theatre! Each day focuses on a different skill set so attendees can figure out what they want to find out more about. Topics include auditioning, tech theater, improvisation, Shakespeare, and physical comedy/slapstick.

Please arrive by 12:55 p.m. every day. Wear comfy clothes and bring a water bottle and an open mind to camp every day.

Youth Acting Class: Scene Study
July 31-August 4, 2023, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. for ages 10-13.
Instructor, Cindy Tegetmeyer.

Attendees learn to use their voice, body, and imagination to create believable situations and characters. Learn how putting your attention on your partner builds a compelling relationship onstage.

Friends and family performance on August 4, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., will include improvisational and/or scripted scenes.

Cindy Tegtmeyer has a BFA in Acting from Millikin University. She was a professional actress, SAG-AFTRA voice-over artist and youth acting teacher in Chicago for over 20 years. Cindy also toured as a clown with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. She has performed locally at Bell Tower Theater, the Galena History Museum, Cemetery Walk and a few productions at Galena Center for the Arts.
